Cyber Monday is almost upon us. Cyber Monday is a marketing term for the Monday immediately following Black Friday. The term was introduced in 2005 and has fast become a new way for retailers to get some extra padding in their profit margins. I’m a big supporter of online shopping, in fact my wallet gets some huge dents in it thanks to the power sparkly, online deals have over me. I’ve been scouring the internet to find the best deals and would like to share them with you. Get those wallets ready, finger propped for pressing enter, and shop away!

1) http://www.cybermonday.com/
Cyber Monday is one of my favorite sites for Cyber Monday deals because it has a great variety of deals from apparel to electronics to shoes to makeup, etc. It also features great selected deals like 80% off subscriptions to magazines.
2) http://www.bestcybermondaysales.com/
This site has a nice round-up of some popular shopping destinations like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and more.
3) Various Twitter Cyber Monday deal aggregators
Beef up your following list with @CyberMonday, @CouponTweet, @cyber_monday, @DealCyberMonday, and more. You can also follow http://cheaptweet.com to find a stream of the latest deals and coupons being talked about on Twitter.
4) Retailers’ Twitter Pages
Look for your favorite retailers on Twitter. Start following @toysRUS, @Bestbuy, @kmartDealsnNews, and @TaRgeT.
5) Facebook Pages
It all depends on your preference, but tons of retailers are using Facebook to continue publicize special deals for Cyber Monday. This includes stores like Walmart, Sears, Power Balance, CyberMonday.com, Staples, Sephora, Macys, Loft, and more.
6) Facebook Places & Foursquare
Many retailers used Foursquare and Facebook on Black Friday, but for many the deals are continuing. Ok, so it might not be technically shopping online, but it’s still using online tools to shop!
Radio Shack 4Square For instance, Radio Shack is teaming up with Foursquare to offer a special deal that will be valid until 12/31/2010. Just unlock the “Holiday Hero” badge and you can recieve 20% off of your purchase. If you can’t unlock the badge, simply checking in will also give you 10% off.
Zales 4Square Check into any Zales between now and 12/31/2010 and you can receive $50 off of a $300 purchase. American Eagle is also offering a similar deal. If you check in by 12/31/2010 you can unlock a coupon for 15% your next purchase. These deals aren’t new to Foursquare. Starbucks has been using Foursquare to offer $1 off of frappucinos. Maybe it’s time you signed on to Foursquare as well.

I hope these sites can be of some help as you navigate the cyber world for some holiday steals. Happy shopping!
